LEAVING A MARK

Designing a jewel as a souvenir of Italy, an object able to recall through its materials and its techniques of realization the history and the culture of a country: a tangible fragment that can tell an elsewhere. Souvenir d’Italie as a monument of a specificity of a place whose memory is wanted to be kept alive.

Leaving a mark is a tribute to Bodoni body types and to the typographic printing method. The project consists of a series of collectable silver stamp-buttons each representing a sticking out Bodoni ornament. The buttons can be fixed in a charm or a ring base.
